~Living today like there's no tomorrow

I was just thinking, (And yes I try to do that pretty often.) if you were to die today and all your friends came to the funeral, what would they remember and say about you? “She was so much fun to be around!” or “She was such a blessing and her life was so encouraging to me!” Which leads me to a few questions: Are you influencing others in the right way? Is your life and testimony encouraging others towards God or away from Him? Please examine your life purpose. You are right here, right now, for a reason. Its up to you to be continually seeking God till you find out that reason. Then do it! If you aren’t following through and doing what God has called you to, well then what good are you? Are you hindering Satan’s kingdom or are you helping it? As I see it, life is a spiritual battleground. Two kingdoms fighting to conquer; good against bad, righteous against evil, God against Satan. You can’t be on both sides and you can’t be in the middle. Matt. 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” You also aren’t any good flitting from one side to the other. No captain wants a traitor in his ranks.
So the choice comes down to you:
Who will you serve, not just now, but forever.

    1. It's actually the chorus of a song called "Living by Faith." We sang it a few years back in one of our home school programs and I've loved it ever since!

  3. It really does make you think. Heather, I've never met you, but from reading your blog I can tell that you have a heart and passion for the Lord. I am so happy there are girls out there (besides me) that love the Lord and want to serve Him. Thank you so much for having this blog it's been a great encouragement to me. Keep it up! (:
